Marathon Search and Rescue (SAR) watches were developed to Canadian
Government requirements for use in SAR operations. Built to withstand extreme
conditions and match the capabilities of the user. First introduced in the early 2000s,
they are still in active use today.
Commonly known as the Tritium Search and Rescue (TSAR). The TSAR is also known
as the GSAR
®
Quartz, as it boasts the same capabilities but with a high-torque
quartz movement.
