A. Add gravel/sand, rock, and

plants with aquarium frame

E. Install Filter Cartridge

(blue side up).

Adding Fish: Allow your system to operate for 24 hours before adding any fish.

Start with just 1 or 2, adding more gradually over a 4-6 week period. Some fish require a heater.

Remove covering from adhesive strips,

attach it to outside of aquarium.

Allow adhesive 24 hrs to set.

Check Aquarium Components

Confirm all essential parts like filtration assembly, BIO-Wheel, frame, hood, and cartridges are present.

Prepare Aquarium

Add Substrate and Decor

Place gravel, sand, rocks, and plants securely within the aquarium frame.

Add Water and Conditioner

Fill the aquarium with water and add the necessary water conditioner.

Assemble the Filter

Connect Filter Assemblies

Attach the intake assembly to the pump/filtration assembly.

Install Filtration System

Install the pump/filtration assembly into the aquarium frame.

Install Filter Cartridge and BIO-Wheel

Mount the BIO-Wheel and install the rinsed filter cartridge with the blue side up.

Cord Routing

Route Cords Inside Hood

Guide light and filtration power cords through the aquarium hood.

Route Cords Along Back

Route all power cords along the back side of the aquarium.

Attach Cord Organizer

Attach the cord organizer to the outside of the aquarium for safety and tidiness.
