This safeguards the electrical power supply from the
Connect-6017. If only 6015 Boosters are being used, then
a power transformer (16 volts AC, 16 VA or greater power
output) must be used. A suitable connecting cable for
Märklin transformers with terminal clips: 610 718
- Each Booster must have its own power transformer.
These transformers may not be connected under any
circumstances to any other electrical user. The power
transformer that may be required for the Connect-6017
must also not be connected to any other electrical user.
- Use the Connect-6017 only in dry, enclosed areas, i.e.
indoors.
- The Connect-6017 is not a toy. For that reason never
give to children to play with.
Connections
1. Check to make sure that the layout is turned off.
2. Connect the red wire from the Connect-6017 to the
center conductor of the area of the layout to be powe-
red by the Central Station. Now connect the brown wire
to the running rails in this area of the layout, which are
the ground return.
