REFUELLING
Always stop the engine before refuelling, and allow the engine to cool.
Petrol fumes are highly inammable so remove the fuel cap carefully to
release pressure gently, ensure the engine is re-fuelled from a petroleum-
safe container and that refuelling takes place outdoors in a well ventilated
area to avoid fumes build-up.
DO NOT start or run the engine if the fuel tank has been over-lled or
spillage has occurred.
Ensure excess fuel is completely removed, areas cleaned and washed
before attempting to start or run the engine.
NEVER ll the tank indoors, NEVER ll fuel tank when engine is
running or hot.
DO NOT smoke when lling fuel tank.
NEVER ll fuel tank completely. Fill tank to 1/2” below bottom of ller
neck to provide space for fuel expansion.
Wipe any fuel spillage from engine and equipment before starting
the engine.
REMEMBER: INCORRECT FUEL RATIO = ENGINE FAILURE
