MAINTENANCE
Check at each operation;
• Check all screws and nuts are tight
• Check for fuel leaks.
All fuel leaks must be repaired immediately
DO NOT use the engine.
Check after running 20 hours;
• Clean the air lter – rinse in petrol, wring dry and add 5ml of clean
engine oil to the lter, squeeze lter to spread oil before re-tting
(ensure petrol has evaporated before re-tting)
• Clean the fuel strainer
Check after running 50 hours;
(will likely require Mechanic to undertake)
• Check the cylinder head nuts for tightness. Tighten to 8-10N.m.
• Clean the accumulated carbon off both the head and exhaust port
(see below).
• Clean the spark plug, and adjust the clearance to 0.6mm.
• Clean the mufer of excess carbon
