Optional trailer hitch
This tractor is shipped with an optional trailer hitch (A) that
can be installed if desired. The hitch can only be used with the
grass catcher removed. When using the catcher, the hitch may
remain installed. See CE Compliance Specifications chart for
trailer hitch weight limits.
Hitch installation
1. Remove the catcher assembly (see “Grass catcher removal”).
2. Install the hitch (A) behind the tractor back plate (B).
3. Insert two 3/8-16 x 1" carriage bolts (C) through the
hitch (A) and back plate (B) as shown. Secure with
two lockwashers (D) and nuts (E).
Attaching a trailer
The maximum horizontal drawbar force allowed is 444N. The
maximum vertical drawbar force is 222N. This equates to a
180 kg trailer on a 10 degree hill.
1. Align the trailer tongue (G) with the trailer hitch (A).
Secure using a clevis pin (F) and hair pin clip (H).
