DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove capscrew f rom end of engine
crankshaft and remove
pulley
and front
section
of the rotor
assembly
as
shown in Fig.
89.
2. Screw capscrew back
in
to crankshaft
and
carefully
pull
rear section of rotor assembly,
with
a
suitable
puller
as shown
in
Fig. 90.
3. Disconnect wire at connector, remove
bolts
securing
field assembly to engine
and re-
move
the field assembly as
shown in
Fig. 91.
REASSEMBLY
1.
lnstall
field assembly by rotating
to
one
side to
clear
muffler bracket as
shown in
Fig.
91.
2.
Secure
in
place
with retaining bolts and
reconnect
wire.
3.
lnstall
rear
section
of the rotor
assembly
over crankshaft key as
shown in
Fig. 92.
4. Position
pulley
and front section of rotor
assembly
against rear section,
as
shown
in
Fig.
89.
5. Secure
pulley
and rotor assembly
with
retaining bolt.

Any
binding
at this
point
will affect belt tension.
IMPLEMENT

electrically

a toggle switch
on
the instrument
panel.
