B. Opening
1. Preliminary operations
a) Support the front axle beam (2WD or 4WD) with
wooden wedges (1) on both sides to ensure the
side balance of the front assembly that will be
moved.
b) Apply the parking brake and/or wedge the rear
wheels with wooden shims.
2. Electrical system
- Tractors up to 100 hp
a) Disconnect the positive cable from the battery
(2).
b) Disconnect the electrical connections (2a) from
the battery (2) negative cable.
c) Remove the primary fuse box (3) and the relays
(4).
d) Loosen the tab bolts (4a) from the cables.
- Tractors of more than 100 hp
e) Disconnect the horn (5) Fig. 4.

3. Steering system
a) Disconnect the steering cylinder hoses (6) (2WD
and 4WD) Fig. 4 and 5.
NOTE:
Cap the hose (6) ends to prevent dirt from
getting inside.
