11. RIDING
CAUTION
If you ATV becomes immersed, take it to your dealer before
starting the engine. Major engine damage can result if the
maching is not thoroughly inspected.
If it is impossible to take it to a dealer before starting, follow the
steps outlined below.
l Move the ATV to dry land or at the very least, to water depth
not more than 4 inch (100mm).
l Remove the spark plug.
l Turn the engine over several times with electric start.
l Dry the spark plug and reinstall or replace with a new plug.
l Attempt to start the engine. If necessary repeat the “drying”
procedure.
l Take the machine to your dealer for service as soon as
possible whether you succeed in starting it or not.
If water has been ingested into the CVT system, take the ATV to
your dealer for service as soon as possible
