Getting Started

Unpacking

Remove all items from carton and check for shipping damage. Inform dealer of any issues.

Filling Oil Tank

Fill oil tank with SAE #30 motor oil. Note oil type for different temperatures. Replace oil cap.

Chain Saw Operation

Extension Cords

Use outdoor-rated cords, properly sized (1.5mm²/14SWG up to 30m). Tie cords together.

Oiling Chain

Check oil level before use. Press oil cap to oil chain. Press before each cut. Check oil sight hole.

Cutting With the Chain Saw

Connect saw, ensure log not on ground, use both hands, firm grip, proper footing, light pressure.
