c) Assemble the BB spindle, using a screwdriver to move and align the bearing distance spacer if
necessary.
9) Rear pulley and cranks assembly
a) Mount the 4 M10 x 20 x 1.5P bolts on the crank pulley, without tightening them yet; you
will tighten the 4 bolts after mounting the right crank and pedal for better support.
1: Assemble the right crank and tighten the M8 x 20mm Allen bolt.
Apply Loctite thread locker blue 243 on the bolt thread.
2: Mount the right pedal on the right crank. Apply Loctite 243 in the bolt thread.
c) Tighten the M20 x 1.0P locking nut using the 30mm torque wrench and ratchet-head
wrench and add the rubber cap.
d) Mount the left crank and tighten, apply Loctite thread locker blue 243 on the M8 x 20mm
Allen bolt thread and make sure that both cranks are correctly aligned and tightened.
e) Tighten the 4 M10 x 20 x 1.5P bolts of the crank pulley firmly by hand.
