10) Flywheel and belt assembly
a) Place the belt on the rear and front pulley.
b) Tilt the flywheel as shown in the picture, first placing the left side of the axle in its supports,
then lifting the flywheel to place the right side in its support.
c) Once the flywheel is placed in its supports, tighten the M12 x 1.0P nuts on both sides by
hand.
d) Mount the bracket using its 2 M6 x 25 x 1.0P Allen bolts on both sides.
e) Loosen the M12 x 1.0P nuts of the flywheel axle on both sides. Loosen the M8 x 1.25P nut
and tighten or loosen the M8 x 50 x 1.25P Allen bolt to align the flywheel.
f) Don´t forgets the inner spacer when assembling the brake pad.
11) Flywheel alignment
a) Check the tension of the belt using a sonic tension meter.
Recommended frequency:
1) Poly V belt: 100 Hz – 105 Hz.
2) Timing Belt: 135 Hz – 140 Hz.
b) Tighten the M8 x 1.25P nut while holding the M8 x 50 x 1.25P Allen bolt after aligning the
flywheel.
c) Tighten the M12 x 1.0P axle nuts on both sides.
