The quickest way to determine what UCB version is in the console, check the UCB Vendor under
Firmware Version.
Nexcom = 1.0
Wistron = 2.0
Component differences to the Control Board Module are as follows:
A. LVDS Wire – connects UCB to display. controls color pallet and clearness of screen (visible
horizontal or vertical lines in the screen may be the LVDS wire not seated properly or a defect
with the wire.
B. Backlight Board (inverter board) –connects UCB to display. This is only found on the Touch XL
console because it requires additional voltage for lighting the screen.
