3. Setup procedure

Pull out the waste box.

Insert the power adapter DC plug (and foot switch plug) into the
jack on the electric staple remover.

Insert the power adapter AC plug into the wall socket.

CAUTION: Set up on a stable flat surface.
●
CAUTION: Set up in a manner where the machine is not placed on
the adapter and power cord wires.
●
CAUTION: Place the power cord (and foot switch cord) in a location
where it will not be tripped on.
●
CAUTION: When moving the machine, be sure to dispose of the
staples before moving.

Insert the waste box. Preparation for removal is complete when
the LED on the top is illuminated.
4. Procedure for using electric staple remover

Insert paper into the remover with the staple legs facing upward.
●
ATTENTION: Do not insert stapled sheets other than paper. Doing so may lead to machine malfunction.

Align the staples with the staple position LED.
●
NOTE: Work sitting down so the LED can be seen.
●
IMPORTANT:
Misaligning laterally from the staple alignment position may result in failed removal and damage
to the paper.

Press the button (or step on the foot switch) while holding down the paper.
●
IMPORTANT: Staples other than those in the specifications may not be properly removed.
●
IMPORTANT: Dispose of accumulated waste staples daily after work is complete.
●
CAUTION: Do not touch bent staples or staples remaining in paper bundles with bare hands. Doing so may
lead to injury.
●
IMPORTANT:
Depending on the binding position or condition of the staples or paper, staples may not be
removable or the paper or staples may be damaged.

IMPORTANT:

For the foot switch, use a product with a 3.5mm jack.
●
To use a foot switch with a 6.35mm jack, use a converter cable to convert it to 3.5mm.
●
Both normally open and closed foot switches can be used.
●
Connect the foot switch after disposing of staples remaining in the waste box.
●
When using the foot switch, insert the power adapter AC plug into the wall socket
after inserting the foot switch plug.
