Installation using seatbelt
1. Seperate the base from the capsule
by activating the release handle and
lifting the capsule off of the base as
shown in image A. Put the capsule
aside for now. Refer to page 50 for
detailed instructions.
2. Position the base central to the rear
vehicle seat as shown in image B.
It is recommended that the capsule
and base be installed on the curb
side of the car whenever possible to
make entry and exit safer.
3. Adjust the base angle or deploy
the incline foot to help stabilise the
base in ergonomic seats as needed
before proceeding. Refer to page 41.
4. Lift the seatbelt clamp handle up to
open the installation path as shown
in image B.
5. Pull the vehicle seatbelt out from the
retractor and press the sash and lap
parts of the belt together so they are
unied with no twists.
6. Pass the belt under the base’s
nearest side wing, through the
clamp’s slot and then back under
the base’s side wing before then
clipping the seatbelt in as shown in
image C.
