• Use the ‘On /Off’ button, which is located on the side of the appliance, to start the
appliance.
• ATTENTION! Do not put food into the appliance, when the appliance is turned off.
• Use the food pusher to calmly push the food into the appliance.
• ATTENTION! Pushing hard may cause damage to the appliance.
• ATTENTION! Never push food into the appliance by hands.
• When food got stuck into the appliance, turn off the appliance, wait until the motor has
stopped working and remove the plug from the main socket. Thereafter you can remove
the pieces in reversed order and remove food.
• ATTENTION! Do not use other objects, like a spoon or spatula; they can cause damage
to the appliance.
• When the appliance will not be used for a longer period, please remove the plug from the
main socket.
• When you are finished with the appliance, make sure it is cleaned according to the steps
in chapter ‘Cleaning and maintenance’.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Always remove the plug from the socket before any cleaning or maintenance is being
done to the appliance.
• ATTENTION! Do not use any aggressive detergents or scourers, which may cause
scratches. Do not use gasoline containing or solvents while cleaning. Make sure no water
enters the appliance.
• ATTENTION! Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
• To clean the top cover of the appliance it can be removed as shown in above picture. By
loosening the handles, through pulling them out, the top cover can be removed.
• The appliance can be cleaned with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent). Dry the
appliance totally by making use of a dry towel.
• The parts of the appliance can be cleaned in warm water and soap. Do not put the parts
in the dishwasher; these detergents might be too aggressive.
