TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
Regulated pressure gauge
indicates abnormal pressure
drop when the air tool is being
used.
1. This is normal condition.
2. Compressor capacity is
low.
1. If pressure drops too
low, adjust the pressure
regulator knob while using
the air tool.
2. Check the air requirement
of air tool. Refer technical
specifications on page 6.
If it is higher than CFM
and pressure supplied
by compressor, use a
compressor of high
capacity. Most tools are
rated at 25% of actual
CFM while running
continuously.
Air leaks from the pressure
regulator or the regulator is
not working properly.
1. Internal parts of the
regulator are dirty or
damaged.
1. Replace the regulator or
internal parts.
Pressure relief valve is opened. 1. Tank pressure exceeds
normal operating
pressure. Refer technical
specifications on page 6.
2. Pressure switch is not
operating properly.
1. Replace the pressure
switch.
2. Replace the pressure
switch.
