  If your MAXTRA Scooter isn't working or charging, there are several things to check: * First, press the reset button. * Then, inspect the connections and wires under the deck plate for any looseness or damage. * Verify that the wall outlet is working, and try a different outlet. * Examine the charger lights: when plugged into the wall, it should be green; when plugged into the wall and the unit, it should be red while charging and green when charging is complete. If there are no lights or blinking lights, replace the charger. * If the light is on after turning on the switch, the controller may have failed and needs replacement. * If the light is not on when the switch is opened, the battery may have failed, and you should replace the controller and batteries.

  If your MAXTRA Scooter has a short run time or runs slowly, consider the following: * Ensure the rider weighs no more than 155 pounds. * Only use the scooter on flat, dry surfaces, avoiding slopes and areas with rubble. * Charge the scooter for 9 hours to ensure the battery is full. * The batteries may need to be replaced. * Check if the brake is dragging. Under normal conditions, the rear wheel should turn easily by hand. If the controller still outputs current when braking, check the brake wire connection or replace the brake. In normal braking, the controller should immediately reduce the current output to '0' after holding the brake handle.
