MAXXAIR’S UNIMAXX UNIVERSAL
VENT LID REPLACEMENT KIT
Replaces damaged vent lids on ELIXIR, HENGS,
JENSEN, VENTLINE and other roof vent assemblies.

Maxxair Unimaxx Universal Vent Lid Replacement Kit Installation Instructions

Prepare Vent for Removal

Crank vent open, remove garnish ring, crank handle, and screen frame.

Detach Lift Operator and Old Lid

Remove screws from lift operator, disengage lift arm, and remove old lid. Remove retainer clip if present.

Attach Universal Hinge

Engage universal lid with universal hinge by orienting parts and pivoting.

Position and Mark Hinge Mounts

Place lid and hinge, mark holes. Adjust hole selection if needed for flange engagement.

Drill and Secure Hinge

Drill mounting holes with a 3/16" bit and secure hinge with hardware.

Connect Lift Arm to Slide/Clip

Position lift arm through opening and install slide/clip to lift arm.

Engage Slide/Clip and Re-install Operator

Engage slide/clip with T-bar on lid. Re-install lift operator with original screws.

Re-install Trim Components

Re-install screen frame, crank handle, and garnish ring with original screws.
