Option 1: Release or tighten the brakes
by twisting the screw at the brake clamp.
Option 2: Release or tighten the brakes by
twisting the set screw at the brake lever.

If you intend to use the bicycle on public roads,
you
must prepare it to meet the local require
ments for
items such as lights and reflectors
because your bicycle
may not be prepared for riding
on public roads in
your country. Always follow all local traffic laws and
regulations in force on public roads as well as off-road,
including regulations about bicycle lighting, reflectors,
licensing of bicycles, riding on sidewalks, laws
regulating bike path and trail use, helmet laws, child
carrier laws and other special bicycle traffic laws.
