To lock any door with the door-lock
button from the outside, push down its
door-lock button and close the door.

Power Door Locks
Locking, unlocking with key
All doors lock automatically when any
door is locked with a key. All doors
unlock when the driver’s door is unlocked
and the key is held in the unlock position
a second longer. Also, all doors unlock
when the passenger’s door is unlocked.
NOTE
•
Lockout prevention keeps you from
locking the driver’s door with the
key in the ignition switch at ACC or
LOCK.
If you try to lock the driver’s door
when the key is in the ignition
switch and the driver’s door is open,
the door lock immediately unlocks.

When locking the doors this way, be
careful not to leave the key inside
the vehicle.
Door-lock button
NOTE
Holding the key in the unlocked
position in the driver’s door lock for
about a second unlocks all doors . To
unlock only the driver’s door, insert a
key into the driver’s door lock and turn
the key briefly to the unlock position
and then immediately return it to the
center position.
