The seat belt warning light/chime
reminds
you to fasten your
seat belt. One
of the following will take place:
If the seat belt is not buckled before the
ignition
is turned to ON, the light comes
on for one to two minutes and the chime
sounds for 4 to 8 seconds.
If
the seat belt is buckled while the light
is
on and the chime is sounding, both
the
light and chime turn off.
If
the
seat belt is buckled before the igni
-
tion is turned to ON, both the light and
chime will not turn on.

Seat Belts
To fasten:
1. Grasp the buckle and tongue plate.
2. Slowly
pull out the lap/shoulder belt.
