Positioning the Lap Portion of the
Seat Belt:
The
lap portion of the seat belt worn
too high can be dangerous. In a col

lision, this would concentrate the

force directly
on the abdom

inal area, causing serious injury.
Wear
the lap
belt snugly and as low
as possible.
