SURFACE.

CUTTING
A
LIMB

fire
extinguisher
and
shovel
close
at
hand
whenever
you
cut
in
areas
where
dry
grass,
leaves
or
other
flam-
mable
materials
are
present.

screens
are
available
for
installation
in
your
muffler
where
fire
regulations
require
them.

local
regulations
for
your

requirements.
NEVER
OPERATE
YOUR
CHAIN
SAW
WITHOUT
A
MUFFLER.
DO

THE
SAW
BY
THE
CHAIN
BRAKE
LEVER.

TRANSPORTING
YOUR
CHAIN
SAW,
use
the
appropriate
guide
bar
scabbard.
TURN
OFF
YOUR
SAW

MOVING
BETweEN
CUTS
and
before
setting
it
down.
Always
carry
the
chain
saw
with
the
engine
stopped,
the
guide
bar
and
saw
chain
to
the
rear,
and

muffler

handles

free
of
oil
or
fuel
mixture.
