• At the end of the total heat time pull
the drive screw forward then up.
• Remove heater.
• INSPECT molten area.
INITIAL
HEAT
FORCE
& HEAT
SOAK

• Check heater adapter
surface temperature.
• Clean heater surfaces.
• Place heater on pipe.
• Apply INITIAL HEAT FORCE
(Observe indication of melt at the crown of the pipe).
• Reduce pressure to HEAT SOAK FORCE (Observe bead size around the base of the fitting).
