What to do if automatic pack/eject functions are not working on McNeilus Pacific?

  If the automatic pack/eject functions are not working on your McNeilus Trucks, consider the following: 1. Reduce engine speed to below 1600 RPM. 2. Close the tailgate. 3. Fully open the top door. 4. Lower the arms below the body. If these steps do not resolve the issue, check the diagnostic display or it may require shop service and repair due to a system problem, or pack/eject proximity switches for proper operation.

  If all functions are not working and the control panel warning light IS flashing on your McNeilus Trucks, it could be because the body is up, so lower and secure the body. Alternatively, the side door could be open, so close it. If neither of these actions resolves the problem, it indicates a system issue that requires professional shop service and repair.
