Montage und Anschluss - Installation
1. Gerät auf einer 35 mm Hutschiene montieren.
Mount the device on a 35 mm DIN rail.
2. Gerät mit dem KNX-Bus verbinden.
Connect the device to the KNX bus.
3. Gerät über ein RJ45 Netzwerkkabel mit dem LAN verbinden.
Connect the device to the LAN using an RJ45 network cable.
4. KNX Busspannungsversorgung zuschalten.
Switch on KNX power supply.

Inbetriebnahme - Commissioning
Hinweis: Für den vollen Funktionsumfang werden zwei KNX Applikationsprogramme für das Gerät benötigt. Diese müssen in zwei
unterschiedliche Speicherbereiche programmiert werden. Siehe hierzu die Tabelle oben: Beschreibung der Programmier-LED.
Die KNX Applikationsprogramme werden unter www.mdt.de\Downloads.html und im Onlinekatalog der ETS bereitgestellt.
Beide KNX-Applikationsprogramme sind jeweils mit und ohne KNX-Secure-Funktionalität verfügbar. Ein umfangreiches Lösungsbeispiel zur
Inbetriebnahme des IP Routers wird unter https://www.mdt.de/fuer-pros/tipps-tricks.html bereitgestellt.
Ablauf der Inbetriebnahme:
1. Haupt-KNX-Applikationsprogramm in ETS laden, physikalische Adresse einstellen und Einstellungen vornehmen.
1.1 Bei Verwendung der KNX-Secure Applikation nun das erste Gerätezertikat eingeben und ggfs. das Projektpasswort setzen.
2. Programmieren der physikalischen Adresse und des Haupt-KNX-Applikationsprogramms in das Gerät.
Bei Aufforderung den Programmiertaster kurz drücken. (Programmier-LED leuchtet dauerhaft)
3. Die rote LED erlischt nach erfolgreicher Programmierung.
4. E-Mail-KNX-Applikationsprogramm in ETS laden, physikalische Adresse einstellen und Einstellungen vornehmen.
4.1 Bei Verwendung der KNX-Secure Applikation nun das zweite Gerätezertikat eingeben.
5. Programmieren der physikalischen Adresse und des E-Mail-KNX-Applikationsprogramms in das Gerät.
Bei Aufforderung den Programmiertaster lang drücken (Programmier-LED beginnt zu blinken)
6. Die rote LED erlischt nach erfolgreicher Programmierung.
7. Öffnen des Webinterfaces zur Konguration der E-Mail-Adressen: http://IP-Adresse:Port z. B.: http://192.168.1.178:8080
Note: Full functionality requires two KNX application programs for the device. These have to be programmed in two different areas of the
memory. See the table above: Description of the programming LED.
The KNX application programs are available at www.mdt.de\Downloads.html and in the ETS online catalogue. Both KNX application
programmes are available with and without KNX Secure functionality. A comprehensive solution example for commissioning the IP Router

Commissioning procedure:
1. Load the main KNX application program in the ETS, set the physical address and make the settings.
1.1 When using the KNX-Secure application program, enter the rst device certicate and set the project password.
2. Program the physical address and the main KNX application program into the device.
When prompted, briefly press the programming button. (Programming LED lights up continuously)
3. After successful programming, the red LED turns off.
4. Load the e-mail KNX application program in the ETS, set the physical address and make the settings.
4.1 When using the KNX-Secure application program, enter the second device certicate.
5. Program the physical address and the email KNX application program into the device.
When prompted, press and hold the programming button. (programming LED starts to blink)
6. After successful programming, the red LED turns off.
7. Open the web interface to congure the e-mail addresses: http://IP-address:port e.g.: http://192.168.1.178:8080
