Overview

The MEAN WELL NTS-450 is a 450W high-reliable true sine wave DC-AC power inverter, designed to convert DC power from a battery bank into AC power for various applications. It is suitable for use in residential, commercial, marine, automotive, mine, construction site, and remote areas with no access to utility power. The inverter can be used to power fans, TVs, radio, phone chargers, PCs/laptops, lighting, electromechanical tools, communication equipment, power distribution cabinets, outdoor camping equipment, marine AC power, factory equipment, and more.

Function Description

The NTS-450 inverter takes a DC input and converts it into a stable, true sine wave AC output. This ensures compatibility with sensitive electronic devices that require a clean power source. The device features a microprocessor-controlled design, allowing for high reliability and efficient power conversion. It supports various DC input voltage ranges, including 12.5~15.5Vdc, 25~31Vdc, and 50~62Vdc, and provides AC output voltages such as 100Vac, 110Vac, 115Vac, 120Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 230Vac, and 240Vac, with frequencies of 50Hz or 60Hz.

The inverter includes several protection features, such as output overload, AC output short circuit, abnormal DC voltage, over temperature, fan lock, and inverter failure. It also offers remote ON-OFF control, allowing users to turn the inverter on or off remotely. The output voltage and frequency, as well as power saving mode, can be adjusted via DIP switches on the panel.
