5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Never use chemical impregnant to clean the scale. Please use a damp cloth to clean
the surface, but avoid the water getting inside.
Maintenance:
a) Avoid breaking the MEDEL BODYTECH by striking, shocking or dropping.
b) Please remove the batteries if it is not in use for a long time.
How to replace the battery: open the battery compartment, remove the battery from
the compartment and disconnect it. Connect up the new battery, being sure that is
perfectly placed, being careful to comply with connection polarity. Close the cover.
Use a pointed object to press reset hole on the back of the unit.
Correct disposal of the product (electric and electronic waste)
(Applicable in the countries of the European Union and in the countries using systems
for separate collection of waste).The symbol on the product or its manuals indicates
that the product complies with the directive WEEE (waste electrical and electronic
equipment) and must not be disposed of among domestic waste. At the end of
its lifecycle, the user shall dispose of the equipment in specifi c collection areas,
Otherwise, the sanctions foreseen by the current laws about waste are applicable.

waste disposal services.
