!
The Medstrom Aria PRO has both a power failure and
abnormal pressure alarm.
In the event of a fault occurance, the control unit will alert
audibly in addition to a visual alarm.
To silence the alarm, press the POWER/MUTE/UNLOCK
button.
Note: the alarm will re-alert after 3-25 minutes dependent
on the therapy mode that is active.
The CPR valve is located at the right foot-end of the mattress.
In the event of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, locate the CPR valve,
twist OPEN.
The mattress will rapidly deate.
To deactivate the CPR valve, twist the valve back to the CLOSE
position.
Immersion Scale
The Immersion Scale LED shows the internal pressures
inside the mattress.
Blue represents low pressure, green represents medium
pressure and orange represents higher pressure.
The pressures alter based on the individual patient and
can be used as an indication on immersion achieved.

Bridging Cells (Heel O-Loading)
Each air cell on the Aria PRO can be disconnected via a very simple CPC
connector and replaced with a specially designed bridging cell (a smaller 5”
cell) to create o-loading for highly critical areas such as heels.
To change the air cell, open the cover, disconnect the air cell connector from
the cell you want to change and reconnect the bridging cell.

In the event of sudden power failure, or if the mattress is unplugged, the
Medstrom Aria PRO is equipped with self-sealing technology that can
keep the mattress inated for up to 15 hours.
During this time, the control unit will alarm (both audibly and visually). Once
muted, it will alarm every 25 minutes to alert the caregiver that the mattress
is not in therapy mode.
