4. Put the guard (2) on the trimmer head.
5. Align the hole on the guard to the hole in
the trimmer head.
6. Put the screw in the hole and screw on
the guard.

FITTING THE HANDLE
NOTE:
The length of the handle cannot be adjusted.
1. Put the bottom part of the handle in the
coupling on the top part of the handle.
2. Tighten the coupling clockwise. Check that
top and bottom parts of the handle are
correctly assembled before putting in the
battery.

1. Place the front handle on the top part of
the handle above the handle coupling.
2. Turn the knob of the front handle
clockwise until the front handle is securely
attached to the top part of the handle.
INSERTING THE BATTERY
1. Align the ribs on the battery to the slots in
the battery compartment on the product
and insert the battery.
2. Check that the battery is locked in place
before use.

REMOVING THE BATTERY
1. Switch o the product by releasing the
speed control.
2. Keep the battery lock pressed in.
3. Remove the battery from the product.
USE
INTENDED USE
• The product is intended for trimming
grass and soft vegetation on small lawns
in private gardens where it is not possible
to use a lawn mower.
• The rotation of the trimmer line should
always be more or less parallel to the
ground. Otherwise there is a risk that objects
can be thrown out and cause serious
personal injury and/or material damage.
• The product is only intended for
household and hobby use, and is not
suitable for commercial use.
• Do not use the product to trim hedges,
bushes or owers. Never use the product
with the trimmer head rotating vertically.
STARTING/STOPPING
1. To start the product, hold the front handle
with one hand and hold the back handle
with the other hand. Keep the lock button
pressed and press the speed control.
2. Stop the trimmer head by releasing the
speed control.

Moving parts continue to rotate for some
time after the product has been switched o.
HOW TO USE
• Hold the back hand in your right hand
and the front handle in your left hand,
even if you are left-handed.
• Hold rmly with both hands while working.
• Hold the product in a comfortable
position with the back handle at about
hip level.
• Trim tall grass in steps. This avoids grass
winding round the trimmer head, which
can cause overheating.
• If grass winds round the trimmer head,
rst remove the battery from the product
