Why is the welding electrode burning back all the time on my Meec Tools Welding System?
    • R
      Rachel LawrenceAug 15, 2025
The welding electrode might be burning back due to several reasons: - The welding tip has been held too near the workpiece. - There's an intermittent interruption in the welding circuit, possibly due to a loose or damaged contact tip (tighten or replace it), an incorrect size of contact tip (replace it), a corroded welding electrode or casing (replace it), or damaged feed rollers (replace them). - Incorrect roller pressure: Increase the pressure until slight pressure from a finger does not stop the feeding of the welding electrode. - Pressure roller jams: Check that the rollers rotate freely. Lubricate or replace as necessary. - The welding electrode is entangled on the coil.

What to do if a hole is burned in the workpiece with the Meec Tools Welding System?
    • R
      Rebecca RoyAug 18, 2025
A hole might be burned in the workpiece if the welding tip is moved too slowly or unevenly, or if the welding input is too high.

Why is the welding arc unstable with excessive spatter and porous weld joint when using my Meec tools MIG 130 A Welding System?
    • B
      Brooke MillsAug 22, 2025
An unstable welding arc with excessive spatter and a porous weld joint can occur if the welding tip is held too far from the workpiece or if there is rust, grease, or paint on the workpiece.

How to fix inadequate penetration with Meec tools MIG 130 A Welding System?
    • E
      Ernest RowlandAug 26, 2025
Inadequate penetration can occur if the welding tip is moved too quickly over the workpiece, the welding input is too low, or the feeding of the welding electrode is too slow.

What to do if the Meec Tools Welding System does not work when you press the trigger?
    • M
      Matthew CohenAug 28, 2025
If the welding machine doesn't work when you press the trigger, it could be because the thermal overload protection has tripped. Allow the machine to cool. Also, check the connections/couplings on the trigger.

Why is there no welding arc on my Meec Tools Welding System?
    • T
      Tyler SmithAug 31, 2025
If there is no welding arc, check the connection of the earth clamp. Also, check the earth lead and welding cable for an open circuit and replace if necessary.

    • M
      Melanie WoodSep 7, 2025
A weld joint can be too thick if the welding tip has been moved too slowly over the workpiece.
