Using your Meisel COM-90 Gooseneck Clip-On Tuner

Thank you for purchasing a Meisel COM-90. To get the most out of your new tuner, please take a moment to go over
these instructions.

On the back of the unit, slide the battery door (1) off in the direction of the arrow; Install the 2032 coin
battery (supplied) with the + side facing up. Be sure that the battery slides under the small metal tab. Replace the battery
door.

1. When inserting the battery into the tuner, please ensure that the POSITIVE (+) side of the
battery is facing up (out).
2. As you place the battery into the compartment, take care to
slide the battery under the curved tab the tab needs to touch the top (positive) side of the
battery. If you put the battery in straight in, that tab can become bent or damaged.

: Clip the COM-90 onto your instrument. Check that the Mic/Clip switch (5) is in the Clip position. Adjust the
tuner for the best viewing angle. The flexible gooseneck allows you to see the screen when clipped to any instrument.
Next, turn the tuner on by pressing the Power button (2) for about 2 seconds the screen will light up. Press the Mode
button (3) to select the instrument that you are tuning; each button press advances to the next instrument type:
(c) Chromatic most instruments
(g) Guitar
(b) Bass
(v) Violin
(u) Ukulele
Play a note. When in tune, the display will show the note and change color
from blue to green. When using the clip, only the instrument its clipped to will
be picked up.

Using the clip as a stand, place the tuner close to your instrument. Switch the Mic/Clip
switch to mic and follow the tuning instructions above.
