Usage Features

The air fryer offers a user-friendly experience with its intuitive display and control panel.

First Start and Pre-use Operations: Before the first use, unpack the appliance and check for any damage. Keep the packaging for 15 days in case of return. Remove all fastening materials and stickers. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface, leaving 10 cm of space at the back and top for air circulation. Refer to chapter 2 for safety precautions. Wash all accessories in warm water with dish soap, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Connect the electric plug to a wall socket equipped with a differential switch. Ensure the cable does not come into contact with hot parts. Start the PREHEATING program for 3 minutes without food inside; this helps remove protective substances and any slight smoke or odor. At the end of the program, pull out the drawer, check its integrity, and allow it to cool down.

Cooking Programs: The appliance offers 9 pre-set programs, indicated by icons on the display. To select a program, press the corresponding icon. The display will show the specific temperature and cooking duration. Users can customize these settings.

  • Preheating (A): Heats up for 3 minutes at 180°C.
  • Fish (B): Pre-set program for cooking fish.
  • French Fries (C): Pre-set program for cooking french fries.
  • Whole Chicken (D): Pre-set program for cooking a whole chicken.
  • Chicken Thighs (E): Pre-set program for cooking chicken thighs.
  • Meat (F): Pre-set program for cooking meat.
  • Vegetables (G): Pre-set program for cooking vegetables.
  • Sweets (H): Pre-set program for cooking sweets.

Manual Cooking: For custom cooking, touch the [O] icon to set the cooking temperature (50°C to 200°C in 10°C steps) and the [K] icon to set the cooking duration (1 to 60 minutes). Touch the [▶II] icon to start.

During Cooking: The display alternates between temperature and remaining time. The [▶II] icon flashes during cooking.

  • Stirring Food: Some preparations require stirring. To stir, pause cooking by touching [▶II], extract the drawer, and shake its contents. Be careful of hot steam and spills.
  • Modification of Cooking Parameters: During cooking, it is possible to modify the food through the special glass window. It is possible to modify the residual time or the cooking temperature to improve the result, touching the [O] and [K] icons, as described in FREE COOKING PROGRAM.
  • Internal Light: To better monitor food during cooking, an internal lighting system can be activated or deactivated by alternatively acting on the icon [I]; with lighting activated, the icon [I] flashes; the light turns off automatically two minutes after activation.
  • Voluntary Stop: To stop the program, press the [⏻] icon. If the drawer is pulled out, put it back and push it until it clicks, then touch the [⏻] icon to stop it.

End of Cooking: The appliance emits a few consecutive beeps and, after a short period of no-load operation, stops. Extract the drawer and remove the food. Let it rest for a few moments immediately after extraction to stop any fat boiling process. Leave the appliance to rest until it has cooled down, being careful not to touch heated or hot surfaces. Avoid emptying the drawer by turning it upside down, as the grease separator grid is not connected to the bottom, it can come out creating risky situations.

Optimal Use Tips:

  • Cooking time is affected by the quantity of food. For large quantities, extend cooking time by a few minutes.
  • For chopped foods (meatballs, morsels, etc.), cooking times should be slightly reduced.
  • Open the drawer for mixing; keep it open for a short time to maintain safety precautions.
  • Small food pieces require less stirring.
  • Use a small amount of oil (about ½ tablespoon) for frying.
  • The ideal quantity of fried potatoes in a single cooking is 500 grams.
  • Avoid excessively fatty foods.
  • To reheat cold foods, set the temperature to 150°C and a general time not exceeding 10 minutes.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning and Maintenance: The product does not require maintenance, only periodic cleaning of internal walls and accessories, using common dishwashing soap applied with a sponge. After each cleaning, ensure all parts are completely dry. All surfaces and heating elements must be completely cold.

  • Avoid aggressive detergents, abrasive sponges, steel wool, or other chemical detergents.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water.
  • For internal cleaning, use a damp cloth. If food comes into contact with the heating element, wait for it to cool completely and remove it with a soft bristled brush.
  • For external surfaces, use only a damp cloth.

Troubleshooting: The manual provides a table of common problems, probable causes, and possible solutions. For example:

  • Display remains off: Power cord unplugged or electrical socket not powered. Solution: Connect power cord, check switches.
  • Appliance overheats: Air outlet grid obstructed. Solution: Clean grid, place appliance in a free area.
  • Food still raw after cooking: Too much food loaded or insufficient cooking time. Solution: Divide food, cook separately, or extend cooking time.
