Aft: Toward the back end of the boat
Port: Left side of the boat looking forward
Starboard: Right side of the boat looking forward
Leeward: Direction away from the wind
Windward: Direction from which the wind is coming
Inboard: Direction toward the center of the boat
Outboard: Direction toward the outer edge of the boat
