4. Tips for best use
•Forbestavour,storecoeebeansinanairtight
container.
•Onlygrindtherequiredamountofbeansimmediately
before brewing as the flavour and smell of ground
coee changes with exposure to air and through
other food items.
•Pleasecleanthegrinderaftereachuse(seepoint5
"Cleaning the coee grinder").
•Iftheappliancecannotbeswitchedonagainafter
use this is due to a thermal fuse. Please unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool down for 5 minutes.
•Thequantityofgroundcoeeneededdependson
the type of beans, the degree of grinding and the size
of the cups. Coee flavour and strength is a personal
preference. To find your personal preference, vary
the type of coee beans, the amount of coee and
the coarseness setting. We recommend using 6-8 g
of ground coee on a medium grind setting.
•Ifespressoisbrewingtoofastinyourpumpmachine,
lower the grind setting.
Depending on the type of coee and the preferred
preparation method, we recommend the following
grind settings for best coee results:

5. Cleaning the coffee grinder
ATTENTION: Disconnect the power plug from the
socket outlet prior to cleaning the device .
•Removethegroundcoeecontainerwithlid and
the hopper lid .
•Washthegroundcoeecontainer,itslidandhopper
lid in warm water, rinse, and let it dry completely.
•Useasoftdampclothtocleanthehousing.
•Cleanthegrinderwiththeenclosedbrush.
•Removeanyremainingbeansinthebeancontainer
and turn grind setting dial to 1 . Place your fingers
along the ridges at the top of the removable grinding
wheel. Turn the wheel clockwise until it stops. Lift
it up out of the grinding chamber and clean the
grinding disc with the enclosed brush  .
•Aftercleaning,placethegrindingwheelbackinthe
chamber. Turn the wheel anti-clockwise until “17”
appears on the grind setting dial .
NOTE: Never immerse the coee grinder base, cord,
plug or grinding wheel in water or any other liquids.
Never put the device or removable parts in the
dishwasher.
6. Notes on disposal
•Applianceslabelledwiththissymbol are subject
to European guidelines for WEEE (Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment).
•Electricappliancesdonotgointhehouseholdbin.
Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally
friendly way using suitable collection systems.
•Packagingmaterialsarerawmaterialsandcanbe
recycled. Please recycle them.
