What to do if my Merco TS2 is not working at all?
    • E
      Elizabeth UnderwoodAug 12, 2025
If your Merco Cooktop isn't working, first, ensure it is properly plugged into a power supply. Next, check that the Power On/Off switch is in the On position. If these steps don't solve the issue, it could be due to a malfunctioning Power On/Off switch, a burned-out heating element, or a defective thermostat control, in which case you should contact a Factory Authorized Service Agent or Merco for assistance.

      Mark ThomasAug 21, 2025
If your Merco Cooktop is getting too hot, the thermostat control might be set too high. Try adjusting it to a lower setting. It's also possible that the thermostat control is stuck in the “on” position or that the unit is plugged into an incorrect power supply, in which case you should contact a Factory Authorized Service Agent or Merco for assistance. Verify with qualified personnel that the power supply matches unit specification.

      Timothy JonesSep 1, 2025
If your Merco Cooktop is not hot enough, the thermostat control might be set too low; try adjusting it to a higher setting. Also, the location of the unit might be exposed to air currents, such as air conditioning ducts or exhaust fans. In this case, block the air currents or relocate the unit.
