IMPORTANT: When tilting up or down, be sure your finger, or
hand, is not placed in‑between the swivel bracket and transom
bracket. Be sure to tilt down the outboard slowly.
3. Tilt the engine up entirely. The outboard will lock in the raised
position.
4. To tilt the outboard down. Turn the reverse lock lever upward
(toward release). Tilt the engine up slightly and then tilt the
engine down. The reverse lock will release automatically.
