for purchasing your new pressure sprayer.
Thank you for the trust you have shown in our brand.
Intended Use
Pressure sprayers 3131 and 3131P are designed for spraying water,
plant protection products including weed killers, and liquid fertilizers.
Pressure sprayer 3131P is also designed for spraying low-viscosity
detergents.
Not suitable for, and not to be used under any circumstances for:
• Wetting agents (surfactants), solvents, and liquids containing solvents
which can cause or promote cracking in the applied plastics.
• highly viscous or sticky liquids or liquids that leave residue which
cannot be completely rinsed out of the device.
When using highly ammable and ammable liquids, always follow the
safety instructions of the agent manufacturer. Products other than those
approved by the manufacturer as well as usage for purposes excluded
above are not in conformity with proper use. The manufacturer shall not
be liable for any resulting damages or for unauthorized modications to
the device.
Your Safety
Do not leave the device in the sun.
Check each time before using:
• Are all parts that are under pressure and convey liquids free of
damage?
• Are those parts functioning properly?
Replace devices that are damaged or not functioning properly
immediately.
Follow the spray manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not leave under pressure for an extended period of time.
Never direct spray at persons, animals, or bodies of water.
Do not unscrew the pump from the tank when device is under pressure.
Do not blow through clogged nozzles or valves with your mouth.
Making the Device Ready for Use
Use
After Usage
• Rotate the wheel on the pump side of the tank. This will depressurise
the tank.
• Unscrew the pump from the tank.
• Add spraying liquid to the tank up to the lling line.
• Screw the pump tightly onto the tank.
• Generate pressure in the tank by activating the pump (approx. 19
strokes).
• To spray, activate the lever on the pump.
• Releasing the lever interrupts the spray process immediately.
• The spray pattern can be optimally adjusted by turning the nozzle.
• If the tank is still under pressure, rotate the wheel on the pump side
until the device is depressurised.
• Unscrew the pump head from the tank.
• Never leave liquid in the device.
Empty and rinse the device with clear water.
• Do not pour residue down the drain.
Dispose of surplus environmentally harmful products as hazardous
waste.
