7.2.1. Replacement of the collection container
1 Provide a new collection container and disinfectant.
2 Turn the locking clip on the amalgam separator upward. Hold the separator in place.

Pulltheamalgamseparatorforwardsoutofthefasteningelementandplaceitonaat,non-slip
surface.

Hold the container rmly and turn the upper part counterclockwise. Pull off the upper part
upwards.

Ifthepumplterisdirty,pullitoff,cleanitoveracollectingvesselandthenputitbackonthe
suction housing of the pump.
