If you notice burning remarks on the cutting surface while using your Metkon Cutter, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that the cut-off wheel is appropriate for the material you are cutting; refer to the consumables section for proper selection. Second, reduce the cutting force applied. Finally, verify that there is enough cooling fluid in the tank and that the cooling nozzles are correctly positioned on the specimen surface and the cut-off wheel to provide sufficient cooling.
