  If your Metrologic Scanner beeps at some bar codes but not others of the same type, the bar code's aspect ratio may be out of tolerance. Check the print mode and consider that the printer type could be the issue. Adjust the print settings; for example, switch to econo mode or high-speed.

What to do if my Metrologic Scanner transmits each character twice?

  If your Metrologic Scanner is transmitting each character twice, the configuration might not be correct. Try increasing the interscan code delay setting. Also, adjust whether the F0 break is transmitted; you may need to try both settings to resolve the issue.
