Long exposure times
It is worth experimenting with exposure times
that are longer than the flash sync speed.
For moving objects, interesting blurring effects
and a corresponding brightening of the fore-
ground can be obtained in a range of approx.
1 second. By the way, the easiest way to ex-
tend the range of a flash unit is to increase the
ISO setting on the camera. If you use ISO 1600
instead of ISO 100, then the sensitivity of the
photo chip increases is quadrupled.
