5. OPERATION OF THE POWER GENERATOR
5.1. Transportation of the power generator
Requirement for transportation:
• Power generator is switched o and cooled down.
• No consumer/cable connected.
• Sound enclosure closed.
• Pay attention to the weight and dimensions, refer to „3.6. Technical Data“ on Page 17.
5.1.1. Transport by crane or lift truck
I WARNING
SUSpENDED LOADS
Risk of serious injuries leading to death
• No personnel are allowed to be under or near suspended loads
• Lifting gear must be approved for the weight of the power generator
• When using industrial trucks, pay attention to the correct centre of gravity
• Transport power generators at low lift heights
Secure any accident site and initiate immediate life-saving measures
NOTE
Local and user-based safety regulations must be observed during transport.
• For crane transport: Use only suitable and approved lifting gear!
• For industrial truck: Set the power generator onto a suitable at palette.
5.1.2. Transport by hand
I CAUTION
Danger of crush injuries by falling / slipping power generator.
• Lift only on the carrying handles.
• Carry the power generator with at least one person per carrying handle.
• Raise the power generator simultaneously / walk slowly.
Provide rst aid in accordance with guidelines and/or notify rst responders.
• Unfold carrying handles (20-4).
• Raise the power generator simultaneously.
• Slowly carry the power generator to its site of operation.
