Inthecorrespondingplacewhereairbagsaretted,there
isawarningsignstating‘AIRBAG’.
AirbagWarningLight
DONOTservice,repair,replace,modifyor
tamperwithanypartoftheairbag,orwiring
inthevicinityofanairbagcomponent;this
couldcausethesystemtoactivate,resulting
inpersonalinjury.
Awarninglight,mountedontheinstrument
pack,willalertyoutoanymalfunctionoftheairbags.The
lightwillilluminateasasystemcheckwhentheignition
isswitchedonandwillextinguishafterapproximately6
seconds.
Ifanyofthefollowingsymptomsoccur,thesystemshould
beinspectedbyyourMGAuthorisedRepairer .
•Thewarninglightfailstoilluminatewhentheignitionis
on.
•Thewarninglightfailstoextinguishwithin
approximately6secondsaftertheignitionisswitched
on.
•Thewarninglightilluminateswhilethecarisbeing
driven.
