with,orincloseproximitytoafrontairbag.
Tominimisetheriskofaccidentalinjuryfrom
inatingairbags,seatbeltsshouldbeworn
correctlyatalltimes.Inaddition,bothdriver
andfrontseatpassengershouldadjusttheir
seattoprovidesufcientdistancefromthe
frontairbags.Ifsideairbags/sideheadimpact
protectionairbagsaretted,bothdriverand
frontseatpassengershouldbeseatedto
maintainsufcientdistancefromtheupper
partofthebodytothesidesofthevehicle,
thiswillensuremaximumprotectionwhen
thesideairbags/sideheadimpactprotection
airbagsaredeployed.
Whenairbagsaredeployed,childrenwithout
properprotectionmaysufferfromserious
injuryorevendeath.DoNotcarrychildren
inthearmsoronthekneesduringtraveling.
Childrenshouldwearseatbeltssuitableto
age.DONOTleanoutofwindows.
Aninatingairbagcancausefacialabrasions
andotherinjuriesiftheoccupantistooclose
totheairbagatthetimeofitsdeployment.
DONOTafxorplaceanyobjectson,or
adjacenttotheairbags.Thismayaffectthe
airbagpassageorcreateprojectilesthatmay
causeinjuryorseriousharmintheeventof
airbagdeployment.
Afterdeploymenttheairbagcomponents
becomeveryhot.DONOTtouchanyairbag
relatedcomponents,itmaycauseburnsor
seriousinjury.
DONOTknockorstrikethepositionwhere
airbagsorrelatedpartsarelocated,soas
toavoidaccidentalairbagdeploymentwhich
maycauseseriousinjuryorevendeath.
