Engineimmobilisationisdesignedtosafeguardthevehicle

tostarttheenginebyusingthematchedkey.
EngineImmobiliser
Whenthematchedkeyisinsertedintotheignition
switchandthecarisstarted,engineimmobilisationis
deactivatedautomatically.Whenthekeyisremoved
fromtheignitionswitch,thevehiclewillautomatically
enableengineimmobiliser .Whentheignitionswitchisin
positionII,ifengineimmobilisercannotidentifythekey
insertedintotheignitionswitch,theengineimmobiliser
warninglampontheinstrumentpackilluminates,and
theinformationcentredisplayofsomemodelswillshow
InvalidKey.Iftheenginecanstillnotbestartedby
usingthesparekey,seekanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
