OperationofRemoteDoorLockSystem
KeyLocking
•Usingtheremotekeytolock:pressthelockbuttonon
theremotekeytolockthecarafterclosingthedoors,
enginebonnetandtailgate.
•Usingthemechanicalkeytolock:insertthekeyinto
thedriver'sdoorlockandturnclockwisetolockall
doors.Ifthekeyremainsinthelockedstateformore
than2seconds,allwindowsandsunroofwillbeclosed
automatically.
KeyUnlocking
•Usingtheremotekeytounlock:presstheunlock
buttonontheremotekeyoncetounlockalldoors.
Singlepointentryisonlyavailableonsomemodels.
•Usingthemechanicalkeytounlock:insertthekeyinto
thedriver'sdoorlockandturncounterclockwiseto
unlockalldoors.Singlepointentryisonlyavailableon
somemodels.Ifthekeyremainsintheunlockstate
formorethan2seconds,allwindowswillbeopened
automatically.
Note:Ifnopanelsareopenedwithin30secondsafter
thevehicleisunlockedbyusingtheremotekey,all
doorswillautomaticallyrelock.
Mislock
Ifthedriver'sdoorisnotfullyclosedwhenthehandset
lockbuttonispressed,thevehiclehornwillsoundonce,
indicatingamislock.Inthiscase,noneofthedoorswill
lock,thealarmsystemwillnotbearmedandthedirection
indicatorlightswillnotash.
Ifthedriver'sdoorisclosed,thepassengerdoor ,bonnet
andtailgatearenotfullyclosed,thehornsoundsonceto
indicatemislockwhenthecarundergoeslockingoperation.
However,the‘partialarming’attributesofthesecurity
systemwillenableasmuchofthesystemtobearmedas
possible(allfullycloseddoors,bonnetortailgateapertures
