Alwaysensurethebrakepedalispressedor
EPBapplieduntildriveistakenupbythe
clutch.
Firmapplicationofthebrakepedalwhen
stoppingisrequiredbyHHCtogenerate
sufcientbrakepressuretomaintainhold.
HillHoldControlisacomfortfunction.Itworkson
inclineswhenthecardetectsithascometoa‘standstill
status’.Oncetheclutchpedalhasbeenpresseddownand
thebrakepedalreleased,thevehiclewillmaintainpressure
inthebrakingsystemfor12seconds.Afterthis,theHill
Holdwillrelease.
HHCassiststhedriverby'holding'thevehicleduringhill
starts.
ThefollowingconditionsmustbefullledtoactivateHHC:
Stopthevehicleonaslopeinexcessof3%andformore
than2seconds.
SCSisactiveandfaultfree.
EPBisreleasedandfaultfree.
Clutchpedalispressed(MT),orinDorRgear(TST).
IgnitionisON.
Sufcientbrakepedalapplicationforcehasbeenapplied.
Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedalonahill,HHCwill
maintainbrakepressurefor1-2seconds,afterthisperiod
thevehiclemayroll.
Note:HHCcannotovercomephysicallimitations.DO
NOTsolelyrelyonHHC.
Note:HHCisavailableinbothforwardandbackward
directionswhenpullingawayonuphillslopes.
