Duringnormalenginetemperatureoperatingconditions
segments1-6areilluminated.Ifsegment7illuminatesit
willcausethecoolanttemperaturewarninglamp(gure6)
toilluminateandEngineT empHighwillbedisplayed
inthemessagecentrevehicleinformationdisplay.Ifthe
temperaturecontinuestoriseandsegment8isilluminated
thecoolanttemperaturewarninglight(gure6)willash
accompaniedbyEngineT empHighbeingdisplayedin
themessagecentrevehicleinformationdisplay.
Highenginecoolanttemperaturecouldresultinsevere
damage.Stopthevehicleandswitchofftheengineassoon
assafetypermitsandseekanMGAuthorisedRepairerat
theearliestopportunity.
Iftheenginecoolanttemperaturesensormalfunctions,
all8segmentswillextinguishandthehightemperature
